The BCA-100A is the easiest to install and operate. It is also the lowest cost. This version require no space behind foot well covers and is the best choice if very little space is available.
The alarm is operated
as follows :
Before leaving the car, lean down and push
the switch on. The status LED will
light showing its arming.
Approx 10 seconds before its armed, the siren will give TWO chirps indicating its about to arm. If the bonnet switch is used and the bonnet isn't closed properly, the alarm will chirp continually during the arming period.
As soon as the alarm is armed, the LED goes off and will flash briefly every 10sec to show its armed.
When a door is opened, the alarm will chirp to remind you to switch the alarm off. The alarm is now triggered and if the door is closed immediately, the siren will sound in about 10 seconds for two minutes..
If the doors are closed, it will reset and re-arm. The LED will flash twice a second to to show it was triggered whilst you were away.
If the bonnet or bakkie canopy sensor triggered whilst armed, the alarm will sound immediately for two minutes.
